Overview

Our Quality and Governance Team Leader plays an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focused culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.

Working closely with the Services Manager (and CQC Registered Manager) a key part of the role is ensuring regulatory compliance. You will lead on incident investigations, learning from death, audits and complaints. No day is the same and the role really offers an opportunity to make systemic change across the service ensuring better outcomes for service users.

Location: Barnet

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (this post will include weekend and evening work)

Full Time Salary Range: £35,220.59 - £37,184.91 (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)

Allowance: Outer London Weighting: £2,195.72

Note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities About the role
  • Driving Quality and Performance Excellence: We are looking for someone who can build relationships with staff and has great coaching and training experience to improve quality and performance. You should have experience of and be able to create a learning and development culture that responds to changes in guidance and our communities so we can deliver excellence.
  • Leading Quality Improvement: We are seeking someone who has a keen eye for detail, with a passion for quality improvement. You should have the ability to lead on systems to improve quality and develop best practice throughout the team to ensure the people we support receive a high-quality service.
  • Coaching and Staff Development: We're excited to find someone who fosters team collaboration and empowerment, supporting and inspiring the team's growth while helping them develop new skills to deliver high-quality interventions. You should have experience of delivering training sessions, workshops and have great coaching experience.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: We're eager to find someone who thrives in a team environment, who can cultivate strong relationships and collaborate with the Service Manager, wider CGL Teams and external partners to build seamless pathways and achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
  • Fostering a Learning Culture: We're in search of someone who can create a positive learning environment, underpinned by an ethos of openness and collaboration. You should be experienced in creating a learning culture that increases quality throughout the service and enhances our service users experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: Experience in governance, quality management, or performance monitoring within a health or social care setting.
  • Quality Improvement Expertise: A passion for continuous improvement, with experience in creating and implementing quality improvement plans, audits, and reviews.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Experience managing and developing teams, helping staff gain the skills and confidence to deliver impactful interventions for diverse groups, including those with co-occurring conditions.
  • Commitment to Learning & Development: A proactive approach in self-development, as well as supporting the growth and development of the team. This role will help shape the team's capabilities and ensure that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: The role will involve working across different operational sites. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs, while still delivering the best possible service.
