MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Quality & Compliance Lead focuses on implementing, executing, improving and providing technical quality support to Contract Manufacturing sites and the Contract Manufacturing Operations Team, Technical Innovation Management Teams and CCBTs (Country Category Business Teams) in relevant the market for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, innovation execution, quality risk management and quality improvement.
The role is key in supporting mitigation and management of Elida Beauty's (EB) design and production of products that meet our environmental, consumer safety and quality standards.
JOB SUMMARY
Supports EB Quality strategy, governance and goals through regional specific projects and targets
Verifies that Contract Manufacturing Partners can meet Elida Beauty's Quality standards by acting as first point of contact (FPOC), supporting technical capability assessments and closure of gaps identified in vetting / SQA (Supplier Quality Approval)
Ensures and verifies ongoing compliance to EB Quality management standards in Contract Manufacturing Partners through KPI monitoring and non-conformance monitoring, intensive care, technical visits (as needed) and general oversight
Supports Cluster-specific quality improvement initiatives with Procurement and CMs where applicable.
Supports changes to existing and new Contract Manufacturing Partners through activities that assure quality/hygienic control processes are in place and operating efficiently, e.g. follow up on audit action plans
Leads or supports quality and/or consumer safety training for CMs (where applicable.
Supports that process changes and specifications meet EB requirements and product quality needs
Support communication and training strategy and execution with Contract Manufacturing Partners.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
University degree in general sciences or technical discipline (preferred: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science or Microbiology degree)
Minimum 3 years FMCG business experience in Quality, R&D or Manufacturing - experience in 'Digitalization' is a plus.
Proven and recognized achievements in risk and change management
Depth of experience within cosmetics as minimum, and OTCS/Personal Care/Home Care as a plus
Auditing
HPC Hygienic Processing experience, and experience in HPC.
Fluent in English
Able to work organized and structured even when put under pressure.
