Location: Hattersley Wastewater Site - United Utilities Region

We are looking to strengthen our SHEQ team with the appointment of a Quality Advisor to support construction projects across the United Utilities region, based at Hattersley Wastewater Site.
Reporting to the Senior Quality Advisor, you will provide on-site quality support across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant legal standards. This is a key role in promoting a positive quality culture and driving continuous improvement throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and execute the internal quality audit programme in conjunction with the Regional Quality Lead.
- Provide support to ensure all project quality documentation is completed, compliant, and retained in line with company procedures, legal requirements, and client standards.
- Monitor and support onsite installation standards in line with company and client specifications.
- Assist in managing and developing the Integrated Management System (IMS), promoting a Lean approach across the business.
- Support the development and improvement of processes, forms, guidance, and associated documentation.
- Conduct quality investigations and root cause analysis, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Support the SHEQ team in producing communications and delivering classroom training on quality-related topics.
- Promote internal quality systems and embed understanding of IMS requirements and benefits across the business.
- Encourage a positive quality culture, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain ongoing professional development to stay current with industry standards and innovations.
- Present a professional and positive image of the business in all internal and external interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold company values at all times.
- Previous experience as a Quality Advisor within a construction environment
- Internal QMS Auditor (IRCA or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel within the United Utilities region
- Experience within the water or wastewater industry
- EUSR SHEA Water card
- PCQI membership
