A specialist SEND school in SW17 is seeking a passionate and qualified Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a full time basis, starting next week and continuing until the end of the academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs, delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons in a supportive and well resourced environment.
Role- Teaching Food Technology across relevant key stages
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Food Technology in a school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible, patient and nurturing approach
- Experience working within SEND settings is desirable but not essential
- Immediate start
- Full time position until the end of the academic year
