Overview

Manufacturing Compliance & Quality Manager Needed in Trafford Park (QHSE)

  • Location: Trafford Park, Manchester (some cross-country travel required)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 44 hours per week
  • Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Our client, a well-established specialist manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Compliance & Quality Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead QHSE policies, procedures and compliance across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure vehicle builds and modifications meet Type Approval and industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain quality management systems to support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, manage NCRs and monitor customer feedback.
  • Deliver training, promote a strong safety culture and liaise with regulatory bodies and suppliers.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience within QHSE, compliance or quality in automotive, vehicle bodybuilding or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and technical compliance processes.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001 (training available).
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to influence safety-first behaviours.
  • Full UK driving licence (cross-country travel required)
