QC/QA Functional Consultant (LIMS Implementation) - 12+ months

We are looking for an experienced QC/QA Functional Consultant to lead the implementation and replacement of our Quality Control/Quality Assurance Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This role will be central in ensuring seamless system integration, regulatory compliance, and optimized laboratory operations. If you have strong LIMS project experience (ideally Thermo Fisher SampleManager) and thrive at the intersection of quality, technology, and process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new QC/QA LIMS, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration oversight, testing, and deployment.
• Assess and replace existing systems while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, ISO).
• Collaborate closely with QC/QA teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure integration with adjacent systems (ERP, MES, etc.).
• Develop and execute validation protocols aligned with industry and regulatory guidelines.
• Serve as the functional expert and primary point of contact for all LIMS-related activities.
• Conduct user training, support change management, and drive system adoption across the organization.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering LIMS implementation projects in a QC/QA environment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO).
• Experience with Thermo Fisher SampleManager (preferred).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, quality, and operational teams.
