QA Technician

We're looking for a hands on QA Technician to join a busy food manufacturing site. You'll play a key role in maintaining and monitoring food safety, quality systems, and product quality, ensuring we meet internal, customer, and third party standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out verification, monitoring, and testing of production processes and products (shelf life, microbiological, chemical, organoleptic).
• Champion food safety and quality culture on site, working closely with production to prevent issues and reduce customer complaints.
• Ensure traceability, accurate records, and compliance with GMP and GLP standards.
• Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions.
• Support equipment verification, calibration, and production record filing.

Requirements

• Level 3 Food Hygiene or equivalent, HACCP qualified.
• Experience in food manufacturing QA, auditing, or laboratory testing.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
