Python Developer

Deliver reliable and scalable tools to support trading analytics and reporting, helping internal teams make informed decisions. The project aims to improve efficiency through user-friendly dashboards and streamlined processes, while fostering collaboration in a multicultural, bilingual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable Python applications.
• Develop and maintain internal libraries and tools to support trading analytics and official reporting.
• Implement APIs and dashboards using FastAPI and Dash for internal users.
• Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
• Provide support and training to risk officers and analysts through code reviews and ad-hoc coaching.
• Contribute to code quality and architecture with strong software craftsmanship principles.
• Stay updated with industry trends, especially in Data Science, Machine Learning, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or AWS.
• Work in a multicultural, multilingual team where both English and Dutch are spoken.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience with Python, Pandas, and related libraries.
• Experience with Dash, FastAPI, and RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of software craftsmanship practices (clean code, testing, documentation).
• Familiarity with Angular or React is a plus.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or AWS.
• Exposure to financial services, banking, or energy environments.
• Understanding of machine learning or deep learning concepts.
