Python Developer - Apache Spark, Azure Databricks - vacancy this is a long term contract opportunity to join our Zürich based client in the Financial Services sector

Your tasks:

• Working on Azure Databricks writing code in Python, with PySpark
• Perform analysis, design, implementation and testing
• Development of the functionality of the gold-layer engine for the sub-ledger data
• Optimise Spark performance

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive Python development experience
• Strong knowledge in Pyspark and Azure Databricks
• Good understanding and significant experience with projects using relational data models and SQL
• Language skills: English

Your soft skills:

• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
