Excellent role for someone with Purchasing and Supply Chain Management experience, based with a manufacturing company in North Dublin. This is a high impact role offering the opportunity to influence business strategy, lead transformational change and drive operational excellence across the company. You will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing and supply chain strategies that ensure security of supply, optimise inventory investment, strengthen supplier partnerships and support continued business growth.
The successful candidate will lead purchasing and demand planning activities, balancing customer service, working capital and procurement costs while driving continuous improvement across forecasting, inventory optimisation, supplier performance and supply chain planning.

- Own and continuously improve the demand planning and forecasting process.
- Use historical demand trends, market intelligence, order book analysis and sales forecasts to improve planning accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams across Ireland and the UK to align supply with customer demand.
- Lead the ongoing development and optimisation of the AGR demand planning and inventory management system.
- Driveadoptionofdigitalplanningtoolsandbestpracticeprocesses.
- DevelopandembedrobustSales&OperationsPlanning(S&OP)andIntegratedBusinessPlanning(IBP)processesacrossthebusiness.
- Leadallpurchasingactivities,includingreplenishmentplanning,supplierschedulingandinboundsupplymanagement.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to improve quality, service, delivery performance and cost effectiveness.
- Manage supplier performance through clearly defined KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimise inventory levels while ensuring exceptional customer service and product availability.
- Monitorstockvalue,stockturns,workingcapitalandforecastaccuracy.
- Reduce slow-moving, obsolete and excess inventory through effective planning and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strengthensupplychainresiliencethroughriskassessment,continuityplanningandsupplierdiversification.
- PartnerwithSales,Operations,WarehouseandFinanceteamstomaximiseOTIFperformanceandcustomersatisfaction.
- Support new product introductions, product lifecycle management and SKU rationalisation initiatives.
- Develop and report on key purchasing and supply chain metrics to support informed business decisions.
- Minimum5years'experienceinaseniorPurchasing,ProcurementorSupplyChainManagementposition.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or distribution environments.
- Proventrackrecordinstrategicsourcing,purchasing,supplierrelationshipmanagementandinventoryoptimisation.
- Strongexperienceindemandplanning,forecastingandsupplychainperformancemanagement.
- PracticalknowledgeofS&OPandworkingcapitaloptimisation.
- ExperienceusingERPsystemsanddemandplanningorinventoryoptimisationsoftwaresuchasAGRorsimilarplatforms.
- Stronganalyticalandcommercialdecision-makingcapability.
- Soundknowledgeofprocurementbestpractice,supplierperformancemanagementandsupplychainriskmitigation.
- Excellentprojectandchangemanagementexperience.
