Job Description

Acushnet Europe, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our Cresting Operations & Administration team. The role is full time, permanent and reports to the Purchasing Team Leader.

Responsibilities
  • Raise and manage purchase orders for operational teams.
  • Keep systems and records up to date and compliant.
  • Assist colleagues with purchasing queries.
  • Support reporting, forecasting and data analysis.
  • Chase and resolve supplier issues (deliveries, quality, payments).
  • Manage the Goods Received Notice process to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Support supplier negotiations and contracts.
  • Check open purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and EHS on new products or trials.
Qualifications
  • Some experience in purchasing, procurement or a similar admin role.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong eye for detail and organisational skills.
  • Confidence communicating with different teams and suppliers.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment (bonus).
  • Knowledge of AS400 and experience with embroidery (bonus).
