  • Hours: 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk

The successful candidate will ensure that processing supplier invoices are accurate and paid with the timescale set for each account and take advantage of the discount offered. They will assist other members of the department in their responsibilities, gaining great experience in a busy manufacturing finance department.

A day in the life of a Purchase Ledger Clerk

You will be responsible for supporting members of the team with ensuring all invoices are processed, coded and authorised by the relevant managers. Support of the cashier functions when needed, making internet payments, printing bank statements and processing manual cheques. Supporting the Accounts Payable Supervisor with the preparation of BACS payments, paying out of petty cash, urgent manual cheque processing, month end and GRN clearing and any of relevant duties requested.

Additional duties will involve processing the credit cards and ensuring the general ledger balances at each month end.

What we're looking for

You need to be a highly motivated self-starter, with good communication skills (at all levels of the organisation). A team player with the ability to also work on your own initiative, you will display excellent organisational and interpersonal skills whilst supporting the business. You will have strong IT skills with particular expertise in excel.

You will be working from our Wrexham based site which is home to our MHRA approved sterile injectable manufacturing facility.
