Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at our Volvo site in Doncaster. You will play a key role in the smooth running of the accounts department, ensuring supplier invoices, reconciliations, and financial records are processed accurately and on time.
Essentials (You Must Have)- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct authorisation.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
- Investigate and resolve invoice or supplier discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and purchase ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate purchase order and financial records.
- Support month end and year end processes.
- Assist with inventory and purchase ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure all records are maintained for audit purposes.
- Experienced in purchase ledger or accounts administration.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with financial systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to accuracy.
