The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone with purchase ledger experience to join a busy finance team in a hands on role. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function.

This is a full time, permanent onsite position based in Margate, with study support available for those looking to progress their finance career.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Handling supplier queries and building strong relationships
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with accounting systems and Excel
• A proactive and positive approach

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £26,000
