Your new role
As a TEMP Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
You'll be responsible for:
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
- Assisting with payment runs and supporting month-end tasks
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely payments
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, or similar)
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines
