Pupil Support Officer - Star of the Sea RC Primary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team, to contribute to the continuing development and delivery of high-quality education at the school. The candidate must be able to evidence experience working with primary aged pupils with identified Additional Support for Learning needs.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement tailored supports to individuals or small groups of pupils, including fine and gross motor skills, nurturing, social and communication skills, and support learning in and out of class. Support improvements in school attendance.
QualificationsDemonstrated experience working with primary aged pupils requiring additional support for learning. Previous completion of LIAM training (Let's Introduce Anxiety Management) is beneficial, although training may be provided.
Working Hours & RemunerationHours: 21 hours per week, 39 weeks sessional. Salary: £30,188 - £34,452 (pro rata for part time and sessional). Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:15am - 4pm. Start date: Monday 10th August 2026.

Additional InformationThis post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the satisfactory outcome of these pre employment checks.
Flexible working options are available. Offer will include a salary that typically increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
