Job Description

Provide educational support for two girls aged 10 and 4, preparing them for entry into top secondary schools in London. The role involves helping with homework, developing growth plans, and ensuring a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support two children aged 10 and 4 with academic work and homework.
• Structure and implement a development and growth plan for each child.
• Work Monday to Friday 3pm 7pm and Saturdays 9am 5pm.
• Assist with daily routines and education planning.
• Provide swimming and skiing support if desired.

Requirements

• Educated through the British School System (years 5 18).
• Minimum 5 years experience as a governess or governor.
• Excellent academic record with fluency in English.
• Experienced with children aged 4 and 10, understanding their educational and nurturing needs.
• Up to date Enhanced DBS and signed up to DBS update service.
• Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Right to work in the UK, currently living in the UK.
• Valid passport and ability to travel for a few weeks at a time.
• Non smoking; able to run after small children.

Ideal Candidate

• Fluent English speaker.
• Educated in the British school system.
• Ability to prepare children for top secondary schools in London.
• Academic excellence in core subjects.
• Skills in chess, swimming and skiing desirable.

Benefits

Separate accommodation provided. Salary up to £70,000 (negotiable for the right candidate).
