This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health, Social Work, Youth Justice, or Teaching.
About the RoleAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students across year groups with their learning
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assist in implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and EHCP targets
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
- Support students in small classes with a high staff-to-student ratio
You will be working with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and PMLD.
The Ideal Candidate- Holds a Psychology or Criminology degree (preferred)
- Passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs
- Patient, calm, and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- SEN, SEMH, or PMLD experience desirable but not essential
- Resilient and committed to long-term impact
- Outstanding-rated SEN school
