Psychology Teacher - Rotherham

About the role:

We are seeking a Teacher of A Level Psychology to join a school/college in Rotherham on a full-time basis starting September 2026. This role will run Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:00 and is on a long-term supply basis. The school/college has a strong reputation for academic excellence and provides a supportive, student-focused environment where staff work collaboratively to help learners achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and attainment.
• Prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations in line with the A Level curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental goals and student success.

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience of teaching Psychology at A Level or KS5.
• Strong knowledge of the A Level Psychology curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Two education or school-based references.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
