The Advanced Nurse Practitioner team are looking to recruit a Qualified ANP to work across the front door at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin; comprising the Emergency Department (ED), Minor Injuries, Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU)/Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU). This post has arisen from additional funding from Scottish Government for Moray Acute services to enhance its delivery of the NHS Grampian Unscheduled Care Improvement Plan.

Responsibilities
  • Work across the front door at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, covering ED, Minor Injuries, CDU/SDEC and AMAU.
  • Support and undertake the Royal College of Emergency Medicine portfolio to develop emergency care skills and knowledge, with clinical supervision from Consultants and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
  • Allocate 10% of 36 hour full time work for protected development time in the four pillars of practice.
  • Participate in quality improvements and service developments.
  • Attend six weekly meetings with the Lead ANP for development and pastoral care.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a PG Diploma in Advanced Practice.
  • Submission of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating clinical, academic and ongoing development, mapped to the four pillars of advanced practice.
