A well-established Pupil Referral Unit is seeking a dedicated PRU Teacher to join their supportive and dynamic team, working with KS3 and KS4 students.

About the Role - PRU Teacher

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours
• Support students who may be at risk of exclusion or disengaged from mainstream education
• Create a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment
• Use strong behaviour management strategies to de-escalate and manage challenging situations
• Work closely with support staff, external agencies, and parents/carers
• Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and re-engagement in education

About You - PRU Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students
• Strong behaviour management skills and confidence managing challenging behaviour
• Experience working with SEMH needs or in a PRU/alternative provision (desirable)
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with young people
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
