Proxy parent, SEN Nanny required in Yate, Bristol

A SEN Nanny is required for proxy parenting a 10 year old boy once a week in Yate.

Do you have experience in Autism? This family are looking for a calm, experienced and warm Nanny to care for their 10 year old boy on a Tuesday. During term time you will be required 3pm Tuesday until 8.30am Wednesday and in the school holidays to care for him for a full day on Tuesday and overnight until 8.30am on the Wednesday.

He likes a routine and loves aircraft, drawing and spending time outdoors. He can play independently but is to be supervised at all times as he does not understand the concept of danger. He has a rigorous bedtime routine which is key, he sometimes has broken sleep but does not generally get up in the night. He is an affectionate child and generally a happy boy.

You will need to be comfortable and confident to administer medicine when he requires it. Someone who has worked with autistic children is essential so you have experience of dealing with occasional meltdowns and be able to manage this on your own.
