Proposition Executive / Proposition Analyst

London - Hybrid (minimum 50% office based)

Are you experienced in product or proposition management within financial services and seeking a new opportunity in a growing business area? We have an exciting role for a Proposition Executive to join our Retail team, supporting the management and performance of our Income products and services, aligned with our brand values.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in product management and market research within financial services, eager to develop their skills in the retirement sector.

Reporting to the Head of Income, this role will also involve providing market intelligence and insights related to the retirement income market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the ongoing management and development of Retail's Income propositions, optimizing people, systems, and processes to provide value for our customers.
2. Monitor current products to ensure they remain market-appropriate, competitive, and aligned with Just Retirement brand values.
3. Review and approve sales and customer literature, ensuring consistency with our tone of voice.
4. Understand target customers and promote product features, benefits, and positioning in the retirement market both internally and externally.
5. Maintain expert knowledge of all Income products and act as a Subject Matter Expert where appropriate.
6. Support analysis of regular MI to identify risks, trends, and opportunities; draft commentary on potential consequences of actions or inactions.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in the financial services industry, ideally within the UK retirement sector.
• Experience in a product management role.
• Proven track record of achieving targets within deadlines.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to synthesize technical content into meaningful insights.
• Understanding of competitors in the UK Retirement market.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly.
• Awareness of risk management principles to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
