Purpose

This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Franchise Proposition Strategy and Change Landscape, ensuring our offer is relevant, differentiated, and scalable across all missions. This role ensures that Franchise is actively represented in business-wide change, leads the continuous development of our proposition, and ensures clear governance, communication, and execution of change both internally and across our Franchise estate.

Contribution
  • Own the end-to-end strategic Change and Proposition agenda as we increase the size and scale of the business to 500 shops by 2030 (10X current scale)
  • Product Owner for all Franchise Proposition and Model development
  • Lead a team to develop, prioritise, and deliver the Franchise Change Roadmap across Technology, Operations, Membership & Proposition, that evolves with partner needs and market dynamics
  • Own the strategic direction for Proposition across all missions unique to Franchise; Universities, Hospitals, PFS, MoD
  • Own the Marketing, Membership, Space & Range, NPD, Q-Commerce & Co-op Media Network strategies for Franchise
  • The role leads all strategic interaction with Op Board and senior decision-makers across all internal Propositions and Change teams
  • Own the Franchise Capacity, Change & Engagement Plan
  • Senior Franchise representative across Co-op's governance landscape
  • Influence Co-op's long-term franchise strategy, ensuring propositions and change plans are future-fit, scalable, and commercially robust

  • Own and develop marketing, membership, and partner engagement strategies relating to proposition and change
  • Deputise for the Franchise Director in all Change and Proposition matters across the business and with Franchisees.
