Proposal Manager

We're looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the development of high-quality, customer-facing proposals within the public sector. In this role, you'll take ownership of crafting compelling, structured submissions that align with client requirements and strategic objectives, maximising the probability of winning. You'll facilitate win strategy workshops, develop persuasive storyboards, and work closely with bid leaders and subject matter experts to shape clear, impactful narratives. This is a highly collaborative position where your ability to translate complex solutions into engaging written content will be key to success.

You'll manage contributions from multiple stakeholders, ensuring all content is aligned, compliant, and delivered to a professional standard. Alongside editing, proofing, and formatting proposals, you'll also mentor and coach contributors to improve bid writing capability across the team. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities, and confidence working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. A background in proposal management, particularly within the public sector, combined with excellent writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (especially Word), will enable you to thrive.
