Property Solicitor - Newbridge

BnM is seeking a Property Solicitor who will proactively assist the Commercial Real Estate and Planning Solicitor Lead and work as part of the Real Estate Legal Team on a title registration project and provide support on all legal aspects in relation to the real estate and legal planning components of renewable energy and infrastructure projects and transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law combined with excellent commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:
- Responsible for managing own legal workstream of property transactions. Assist the Commercial Real Estate and Planning Solicitor Lead to ensure the delivery of the Company's in house title review conveyancing project and other assigned land bank projects, ensuring effective coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and legal advisors. Assist with the legal workstream on all aspects of title registration for the Company's land portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely registration of property interests with the Property Registration Authority. Manage title rectification, address defects or queries arising during registration, and collaborate with internal teams and external legal advisors to ensure that all title matters support project delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Negotiations and the drafting of commercial real estate documentation, manage external legal resources, secure third party land rights, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Provide assistance and support to the Commercial Real Estate and Planning Solicitor Lead on property related litigation and disputes, coordinate with external counsel. Maintain up to date knowledge of real estate and planning law developments to inform business decisions and support project approvals.
- Assess governance requirements and obtain necessary approvals, draft appropriate documents and provide advice on general company policies and corporate governance issues. Engage proactively with internal teams and external counsel to ensure consistent legal approaches and timely project delivery.
- Take a proactive role in finding solutions to overcome obstacles and in the management and mitigation of risks.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes:
- Strong knowledge of Irish property law, including complex title registration and property transactions. Demonstrated experience managing projects or processes from start to finish.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and, where relevant, manage or coordinate small teams to deliver legal solutions efficiently.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with familiarity in Legal Case Management Systems considered an advantage. Strong organisational skills and capable of working independently using initiative.
- Maintains all necessary professional subscriptions and adheres to ongoing professional development requirements.
