Job Description

Are you a proactive and organised Property Manager looking to develop your career with a highly regarded independent agent? We're recruiting for a Property Manager to join a well-established and friendly team based in Bishops Cleeve, supporting a portfolio of residential properties across the village, Cheltenham and the surrounding area. This is a varied, people-focused role where no two days are the same, with full training and support provided to help you develop within the role.

As Property Manager, what's in it for you?
  • £25,000 - £30,000 basic salary dependent on experience and qualifications

Your role as Property Manager:
  • Managing scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance
  • Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and applicants
  • Handling enquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • Coordinating property inspections, visits and check outs
  • Maintaining accurate tenancy records
  • Supporting tenancy renewals, agreements and related administration
  • Marketing available properties and conducting viewings
  • Monitoring property compliance and arranging relevant safety certificates and inspections
  • Liaising with contractors to ensure maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Managing day-to-day challenges with a calm, practical and solution focused approach
What we're looking for from a Property Manager:
  • Previous experience within property management, lettings, estate agency, customer service, administration or another customer-focused environment would be beneficial
  • ARLA qualification or an interest in studying towards one is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and people skills - building lasting relationships is key!
  • A proactive, positive and can do attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Solid IT skills and good attention to detail
  • A professional and personable approach
  • Someone who enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to get stuck in
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
