An opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to oversee a local residential portfolio in Banbury, delivering compliant tenancy management, strong customer service, and effective property maintenance throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
We are recruiting a Property Manager to join a respected independent lettings business based in Banbury. This permanent role offers responsibility for managing a portfolio of residential properties while maintaining high service and compliance standards for landlords and tenants.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):- Managing a portfolio of residential tenancies from move-in to move-out
- Delivering a consistent, high-quality service to landlords and tenants
- Completing pre-let checks, inventories, and ensuring properties meet required standards
- Conducting check-ins and check-outs, including deposit negotiations and refunds
- Coordinating maintenance, refurbishment, and repair works with contractors
- Managing insurance claims when required
- Working with accounts to ensure rent is collected promptly
- Identifying opportunities to grow and optimise the managed portfolio
- Providing out-of-hours emergency cover on a rota basis
- Experience in residential property management preferred (circa 3 years advantageous but not essential)
- Strong understanding of residential lettings legislation and compliance
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Calm and effective under pressure
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
