Property Maintenance - Part Time

We are a private landlord with a portfolio of more than 120 rental properties across Nottingham, Derby and the surrounding East Midlands area. We are looking for an experienced, reliable and practical Property Maintenance Operative / Handyperson to assist with ongoing property maintenance.

The role will involve carrying out general repairs and maintenance in occupied and vacant rental properties, identifying problems and recommending practical solutions.

Typical responsibilities include:

• General property repairs and maintenance
• Basic joinery, carpentry and decorating
• Replacing locks, handles, hinges and fittings
• Assembling and repairing furniture
• Preparing properties between tenancies
• Occasional cleaning and rubbish removal
• Collecting materials and completing general DIY tasks
• Reporting maintenance issues clearly
• Leaving properties clean, safe and tidy
• Arranging qualified electricians or plumbers where specialist work is required
