The Role
  • Property Litigation Senior Associate

  • Advising a broad range of public and private sector clients
  • Acting for central government bodies, local authorities, registered housing providers, lenders, NHS bodies, universities, developers and management companies
  • Handling a full range of contentious property matters
  • Representing clients in courts and tribunals up to Court of Appeal level
  • Involvement in leading and precedent setting cases
  • Advising on Building Safety Act 2022 issues and residential leasehold management matters
  • Exposure to high profile national and cross regional work
  • Working as part of a collaborative national team across Birmingham, Bristol and Leeds
  • Opportunity to play an active role in business development and team growth
The Candidate
  • 5+ years' PQE in property litigation
  • Strong technical expertise and relevant contentious property experience
  • Confident handling complex litigation and advisory matters
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Commercial, pragmatic and solutions focused
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and managing relationships
  • Keen to supervise, support and develop junior lawyers
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied caseload
  • Interested in business development and growing a practice
  • Collaborative team player who aligns with the firm's values
