Key responsibilities of a Property Coordinator

As a Property Coordinator, you'll provide essential tenancy administration and property management support, helping to ensure properties remain compliant and tenancies run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing property management and tenancy administration support to branches, landlords and tenants
  • Arranging property safety inspections and ensuring all compliance certificates are up to date
  • Coordinating routine property visits and additional inspections within required timescales
  • Liaising with contractors to arrange repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is completed to the required standard
  • Supporting the management of repair and maintenance requests, including insurance claims where appropriate
  • Establishing responsibility for repairs between landlords and tenants
  • Processing contractor payments, landlord invoices and deposit-related administration accurately and efficiently
  • Delivering excellent customer service while keeping landlords, tenants, contractors and branches updated throughout the process

Skills and experience required to be a successful Property Coordinator

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Be highly organised with strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Be resilient, positive and proactive
  • Be IT literate, including MS Office and email systems
  • Previous experience within lettings, property management, administration or a customer service environment would be advantageous
