Job Description
Project Support Officer (Health Informatics)

Health Innovation East has an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our rapidly expanding Health Informatics team.

Hours of work: 37.5hrs/week

Deadline: 11:59pm on Sunday 22 February

Date of interview: Wednesday 11 March

A bit more about the role

The Health Informatics team has specialist skills in delivering complex, technical programmes of work that include providing secure environments for storing and accessing health and other sensitive data to support health and care delivery, research, and innovation.

The Project Support Officer will bring strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, alongside a desire to support multi-stakeholder projects and a keen interest in developing their own project and programme management skills. The role holder will be a collaborative team player, comfortable with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where multiple internal workstreams and external stakeholders converge. They will balance competing priorities and deadlines with clarity, adaptability, and a focus on team success.

This is a chance to join a fast growing, dynamic company, whose purpose is to turn great ideas into positive health impact. Citizens, academia, health services and industry achieve more working together than in isolation. As part of a national network, we make this happen by bringing together all partners in the health sector, to develop and deliver innovative care. We are an independent company funded mostly through public money from the NHS, but we work with a wide range of innovative organisations in the public and private sectors.

This post is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per month required in our Cambridge office (although you can choose to work in the office more frequently if preferred) and Ad hoc attendance at additional in-person meetings both within the Eastern region and nationally. Flexible working hours compatible with the role can be considered (including the possibility of working part time).
