An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Project Support Officer to join the Children's Care Group Continuous Service Improvement Team. The role will support the care group with the implementation of projects determined by the priorities of the organisation.
Main duties of the jobThe Project Support Officer will provide essential administrative, coordination, and support functions to assist the Continuous Service Improvement lead in the successful delivery of projects. This role will ensure that project activities are well-organised, deadlines are met, and documentation is accurate and up to date. The Project Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the team and maintaining effective project management processes within the care group.

Person Specification Qualifications- 5 GCSEs including English or equivalent; emphasis on numeracy and literacy.
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- ECDL or equivalent knowledge demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Previous experience of working in a large complex organisation.
- Significant experience in a demanding/high-intensity administrative setting.
- Experience delivering administrative functions on projects.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and databases.
- Ability to use own initiative and judgement to analyse and resolve problems.
- Ability to meet deadlines across administrative/project processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
