EHS International is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) to join our client's team for a major construction project in Munster. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring health and safety compliance at the design stage of a significant development.
As the PSDP, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing health and safety aspects of the design process, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation under the Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, engineers, and contractors to minimize risks and implement best practices for a safe working environment.
Requirements- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a PSDP or similar role within the construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of Irish construction safety regulations.
- Experience in design risk assessment and safety compliance.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., IOSH, CIF, Engineers Ireland) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage safety aspects of complex projects.
