This is a *Scotland* based role with an excellent immediate start within a global FMCG brand working on *supporting all aspects of construction safety on site*.

The Role

Our client is looking for a Project Safety Lead to support Capex projects by ensuring high safety standards on site. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Principal Contractors, and subcontractors, providing guidance and visible safety leadership throughout all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of construction safety on site.

• Build relationships with contractors and project teams.

• Assist with risk assessments, start-up meetings, and high-risk activity reviews.

• Provide on-site safety leadership ('boots on the ground').

• Lead safety workshops, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.

• Monitor safety performance, conduct inspections, and support investigations.

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in construction safety.

• Mechanical/electrical project knowledge an advantage.

• Ability to influence and coach contractors.

• Safety certifications preferred (eg, HAZOPS, hazard management).

• Degree preferred.
