We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (24 hours), permanent Project Worker to join our accommodation-based support service in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent. This service provides housing-related support to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.

Additionally, we are looking for passionate and motivated Floating Support Workers to join our Newport Lighthouse Project on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our Barry Offenders Project is recruiting a dedicated individual as a Project Worker on a full-time (37 hrs), permanent basis, supporting individuals aged 16+ involved in the criminal justice system.

We are recruiting a Project Officer on a full-time basis, maternity cover until 31st December 2026.

Overview

Where does this role fit in?

The role contributes to the Group's Growth Strategy, ensuring effective delivery of small-scale housing development and refurbishment schemes, under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager and Head of Development.

The Project Officer acts as a vital link between strategy and project delivery-coordinating and managing from feasibility through to post-completion review. You will support Project Managers with complex projects and help align projects with stakeholder expectations, funding requirements, and community objectives.

What skills and experience do you need?

We seek an experienced individual capable of managing housing development projects to a high standard within time and budget constraints.

You will bring:

  • Post-qualification experience in development and commercial environments preferred.
  • Proven project management skills, including managing priorities and deadlines.
  • A commitment to partnership working and delivering high-quality, customer-centered homes.
  • Ability to undertake financial appraisals and analyze complex information.
  • Proficiency in Project Management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders and producing reports.

What are the pay and benefits?

  • £40,217 for a 37-hour position (maternity cover until 31 December 2026)
  • Coverage area from Neath Port Talbot through Pembrokeshire, requiring site visits.

  • Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
