Our Major Project department coordinates some of the impressive new building projects in the London skyline. As a Project Manager, you will be the interface with all key stakeholders during the Lift Installation projects. You will coordinate the activities of the assigned projects to ensure objectives are achieved within the scheduled time and budget, using approved KONE methodologies and tools. You will be in daily contact with our clients, subcontractors, and your KONE colleagues (supervisors, fitters, quantity surveyors, planners, document controllers), ensuring smooth collaboration.

What would a typical day look like?

  • Overseeing and monitoring the execution of installation projects
  • Being the main point of contact for clients' questions and concerns
  • Reviewing project proposals to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation
  • Establishing work plans and staffing for each project phase
  • Planning the delivery and storage of materials to the site(s)
  • Coordinating project team activities to ensure progress on schedule and within budget
  • Leading with energy to motivate others and exceed customer expectations

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Strong Project Management skills, with experience managing complex projects
  • Experience in the lift industry or in engineering/construction project management
  • Proven ability to manage projects at a site level in a commercial environment
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate complex projects
