Why this role mattersWe're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager to join our PPM/Engineering team. In this role, you'll lead and deliver a diverse range of life cycle and minor works projects-valued up to £500K-across our growing property portfolio. No two days are the same. You'll work closely with tenants, contractors and internal teams to deliver high quality outcomes, ensuring minimal disruption across our multioccupancy scientific campus. What you'll be doing- Managing multiple small and medium scale construction and building services projects up to £500K.
- Maintaining accurate project records, documentation, design info and compliance paperwork.
- Coordinating works within tenant areas, including access, shutdowns and permits to work.
- Ensuring CDM and Building Regulations compliance through all project stages.
- Leading meetings, reporting on expenditure and workload, and maintaining project data.
- Providing excellent after care and customer service.
- Managing dilapidations, Licence to Alter processes and associated budgets.
- Continuously improving processes, documentation and service delivery.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams, tenants and contractors.
- Experience in managing construction or building services projects up to £500K.
- Confident, organized and meticulous with great record keeping skills.
- Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels.
- Customer focused and proactive, with a problem solving mindset.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office; CAFM and CAD experience is desirable.
- Knowledgeable about Health & Safety and CDM Regulations.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Relevant qualifications such as a project management or NEBOSH certificate are desirable but not essential.
- 10.5% employer pension contribution (with 3% employee contribution).
