Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Hampshire Region

Up to £80,000 + package

Meriton Associates are supporting a well established civil engineering contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of infrastructure and public realm projects across Hampshire.

This is a key opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of schemes from early planning through to handover.

The Role

You will oversee a civil engineering project, ensuring safe, efficient and high quality delivery. Typical works include highways, drainage, public realm improvements, groundworks and infrastructure upgrades.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full project leadership from pre start to completion
  • Managing site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S, quality and environmental standards
  • Programme management, forecasting and reporting especially with NEC contracts
  • Client liaison and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Driving commercial awareness and cost control
  • Supporting continuous improvement and best practice delivery
About You
  • Strong background in civil engineering project management
  • Experience delivering schemes for local authorities, developers or public sector clients
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high standards
  • SMSTS, CSCS and relevant civil engineering qualifications preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
