The Company

This is a major Irish residential developer with a strong pipeline of large-scale housing and apartment developments across Dublin. They are currently delivering what is regarded as the biggest residential development programme in Ireland with this phase of the project apartment focussed. Based in West Dublin, this is a major long-term, multi-phase development that will deliver thousands of new homes alongside extensive roads, drainage, utilities, public realm, community facilities and amenity space. There is a considerable pipeline of work ahead, making this a strong option for someone looking for long-term stability on a major Dublin residential development.

The Role: Project Manager

This Project Manager will take responsibility for the delivery of a significant phase of one of the biggest residential developments in Ireland. You will manage the project from a construction and programme perspective, coordinating Site Managers, Engineers, Foremen, subcontractors, consultants and the wider development team to keep works progressing safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. This isn't simply a residential delivery role. Given the overall scale of the West Dublin development, there is significant infrastructure and public realm involved alongside the residential construction. You will need a strong understanding of site logistics, roads and services, utilities, drainage and the coordination of multiple work fronts.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have 10+ years' construction experience, including experience at Project Manager or Senior Site Manager level
• Proven experience required delivering large-scale residential projects in Ireland
• Must have strong programme management and subcontractor coordination experience
• Experience managing major residential developments involving infrastructure, services and public realm works is required

Preferred Experience

• Large multi phase housing or apartment development experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and residential construction standards
• Experience managing multiple site teams and work fronts across a large development beneficial

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day construction delivery of your section of the development
• Manage programme delivery, short term planning, site logistics and construction resources
• Lead Site Managers, Engineers and Foremen while coordinating subcontractors across multiple work packages
• Oversee residential construction alongside roads, drainage, utilities, services and associated public realm works
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality control and technical compliance
• Work closely with the commercial, design and development teams to resolve issues and maintain programme
• Monitor subcontractor performance, labour, materials and upcoming works
• Report progress, programme risks and key milestones to senior management

About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with a strong background in large-scale residential construction in Ireland. You should be comfortable running a substantial site operation with multiple subcontractors and work fronts progressing concurrently. Strong programme management, technical knowledge and the ability to drive site teams will be important. Experience across both residential construction and the associated civil infrastructure will be particularly relevant given the size and complexity of this development.
