Job Description: The Project Manager will manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities- Manage change projects within the organisation, ensuring delivery on time, scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop and manage project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to keep them informed of progress and meet expectations.
- Manage project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and necessary skills to deliver objectives.
- Manage project budgets to keep projects within agreed budgets.
- Create reports on project progress.
- Manage project risks, including risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, identifying, assessing, and mitigating.
- Facilitate change management activities, including training and communication, to embed change projects.
The Project Manager must advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. They will collaborate closely with other functions, lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, and determine reward outcomes. For leadership roles, the required behaviours include listening authentically, energising and inspiring, aligning across the enterprise, and developing others. For individual contributors, they will lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, identify new directions for assignments, consult on complex issues, mitigate risk, and develop policies and procedures.

Requirements and Skills- Structured Planning and Sequencing: Build outcome led plans using Agile and traditional methodologies, validate scope, resources and assumptions early, manage dependencies and critical path.
- Rigorous RAIDs Management: Own risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, with clear accountability, structured escalation and a focus on removing blockers.
- Outcome Focused Problem Solving: Resolve issues with structured thinking and respond quickly to risks to maintain momentum.
- Agile Delivery Experience: Deliver through Agile methodology in sprint based environments across cross functional teams, balancing pace with governance and control.
- GTB Domain Knowledge (Payments, FX, Liquidity): Understand key Global Transaction Banking products and processes and stakeholder impact awareness.
- Corporate Change Framework and Governance: Familiar with structured change frameworks, governance forums, and control requirements, ensuring compliance while maintaining delivery momentum.
- Additional assessed skills: risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job specific technical skills.
Role based in either the Northampton or London office.
