Overview

A well-established mechanical engineering company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC and mechanical installation projects across the West of Ireland.

This is a field-based role with projects spanning Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Limerick, Clare, and Westmeath, making it ideal for candidates based in the western region looking for a dynamic and hands on position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple HVAC and mechanical engineering projects from inception through to completion
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
• Conduct site visits across the West of Ireland as required

Requirements

• Degree or trade background in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience managing HVAC or mechanical projects
• Strong knowledge of building services and mechanical systems
• Experience delivering projects across multiple sites/locations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence (travel required)

Desirable

• Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
• Familiarity with Irish building regulations and compliance standards
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
