Project Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Company Overview

Established 19 years ago as an air conditioning-focused business, the company has grown into a full Facilities Management provider. All contracts and projects are within the retail sector, working with well-known brands such as Costa Coffee, AllSaints, and IWP, among others.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of retail-focused FM and M&E projects across the UK. The role is client-facing and hands on, involving site surveys and end to end project delivery. Projects typically range up to £100k, with larger schemes reaching £250k.

This role does not require tendering experience, making it ideal for a delivery-focused Project Manager who enjoys managing projects on site and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple retail projects from survey through to completion

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction

  • Carry out site surveys and produce project scopes

  • Oversee subcontractors and internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance

  • Manage budgets, variations, and project timelines

  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety and industry standards

  • Coordinate refurbishment works, plant room replacements, and new installations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within FM, M&E, or retail environments

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Ability to conduct site surveys and manage projects independently
