Location: Early Years HQ, Belfast - Hybrid working policy in place

Hours: 37 hours per week

Tenure: Fixed Term until 31 May 2029

Salary: NJC Scale, Point 38-42 (£47,754-£51,802) per annum pro rata

The role

The project manager of the PEACEPLUS ASPIRE project will assume the pivotal leadership role within the project, directing activities, liaising with key stakeholders while setting standards and developing the wider project team.

Essential Criteria

At the closing date applicants must have:

  • A relevant degree level qualification (e.g. Education, social sciences, psychology, community development) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years' project management experience, including team leadership, contract and supplier management, and delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • A proven track record in effectively managing large project budgets and working with external funders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), with skills in document preparation, data analysis, presentations, and collaboration tools.
  • A full current driving licence enabling the holder to drive in Northern Ireland/ROI and have the use of vehicle for official purpose OR have access to a form of transport that will enable the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.

Desirable criteria

  • Demonstrable experience or knowledge of the Early Years sector.
