About Your New Role as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will take charge of delivering mechanical and electrical projects, managing teams, timelines, and budgets to achieve business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all stages of project delivery, ensuring everything is completed on schedule and within financial targets
  • Keeping communication open between stakeholders, clients, and project teams
  • Actively monitoring and reporting progress, and quickly resolving any issues
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate and all compliance and regulatory requirements are met
  • Driving improvements and embracing industry best practices throughout each project
What Skills You Need as a Project Manager
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing projects in the mechanical/electrical contracting or construction sector
  • Recognised project management accreditation (such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is highly valued
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams on complex assignments
  • Strong organisational abilities, along with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and BIM is advantageous
