Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Tool Selection
Contract, Remote, German speaking needed
THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 3-6 month assignment (50% capacity) to lead the end-to-end selection of a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solution. You will manage cross-functional stakeholders, conduct comprehensive RFP processes, and deliver strategic technology recommendations to support enterprise risk management objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership & Execution
- Plan and execute complete TPRM tool selection project life cycle within agreed timeline and scope
- Lead structured stakeholder engagement across Compliance, Procurement, Credit Risk, Legal, and IT Security
- Provide regular status updates to project sponsors and steering committee
Requirements & Documentation
- Facilitate requirements gathering and validation sessions with key business functions
- Document and consolidate business requirements into comprehensive Statement of Work (SoW)
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and evaluation criteria
RFP Process Management
- Conduct market analysis to identify suitable TPRM vendors and data source providers
- Design and launch dual RFP processes for both TPRM tools and data sources
- Coordinate vendor Q&A sessions, tool demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts
- Lead evaluation workshops and vendor scoring processes
Solution Requirements Validation Ensure selected tools address group-wide needs including:
- Compliance requirements (due diligence, ESG, sanctions screening)
- Procurement processes (supplier onboarding, SAP Ariba integration)
- Credit risk management (financial data integration, exposure tracking)
- Information security standards (NIS2 compliance)
Project Delivery
- Deliver final recommendation report and executive briefing deck
- Ensure alignment with strategic priorities and risk management framework
- Complete comprehensive project documentation and handover
Requirements
- 5+ years project/program management experience, preferably involving technology selection or digital risk initiatives
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholder engagement and translating requirements into formal deliverables
- Strong background in Third Party Risk Management, regulatory compliance, and supplier life cycle processes
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting SoWs and managing end-to-end RFP processes
- Solid understanding of compliance, procurement, and/or credit risk domains
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
- German & English speaking
