Project Manager - Chief Payments Office, Retail and Business Banking

• Leading high-profile Payments' delivery across complex, cross-functional change initiatives
• Driving clarity and structure in ambiguous business requests and shaping clear scope and outcomes
• Eliciting and defining high-quality plans, including business, functional, and non-functional deliverables
• Translating complex work requests into a clearly defined scope and plan
• Partnering with Technology and suppliers to drive solution design and delivery
• Influencing senior stakeholders through insight, challenge, and clear recommendations
• Managing project governance and change control to protect quality and value
• Providing transparent reporting and insight on progress, risks, and readiness

Requirements

• Previous experience of working within a Payments environment (Required)
• Experience of E2E project delivery and implementation (Required)
• Experience of industry standard traditional Project Management methodologies (Required)
• Experience of developing processes and procedures in regards to governance and change management principles (Required)
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, comfortable challenging, constructively and influencing stakeholders across all divisions of Santander (Required)
• Proven diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills (required)
• Knowledge of agile and waterfall delivery methodologies required. (Preferred)
• MSP, PMP, PRINCE 2 practitioner, agile or external PMO certification are advantageous but not mandatory. (Preferred)
• Degree level education in relevant subject is desirable. (Preferred)
