Job Description
Under general direction, this role is primarily responsible for identifying and supporting multi-site, cross-departmental projects that enhance Facilities and Utility Maintenance Operations. The position ensures the effective implementation and continuous support of these initiatives. It also involves ongoing review and recommendations for operational process improvements across Facilities, Utility Maintenance, and Engineering functions, while managing tasks related to compliance within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and other relevant regulations.
- Monitor workflows to guarantee operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
- Identify and propose improvements to routine processes; implement upon management approval.
- Support Technician and Engineering teams with projects, maintenance programs, training, and departmental processes.
- Draft, revise, and present documentation (e.g., SOPs, training materials, job plans).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure operational success and achievement of KPIs.
- Understand and support procurement needs for facilities, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Source and evaluate vendors for utility maintenance and engineering services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and quality expectations with suppliers.
- Verify accuracy of incoming invoices; ensure alignment with POs and delivery records.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and liaise with vendors for corrections.
- Provide procurement project updates and highlight areas for improvement to management.
- Compile, track, and assist in presenting departmental performance metrics.
- Support documentation review for audits and training compliance.
- Participate in regulatory inspections as needed.
- Serve as Work Administrator in Maximo; plan and manage initiated work orders.
Your Profile
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience working in GMP/GDP-regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 4+ years of project management experience.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Maximo, and SAP.
- Advanced skills in technical writing and document preparation.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
