Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Project Executive to partner with a business leader driving value creation across a number of businesses. This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of strategic decision making, overseeing a diverse portfolio of high impact projects and programs from concept through execution.

The successful candidate will have the business and organization interest to program manage complex initiatives, building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering measurable business outcomes. They will bring both structure and agility to a fast-paced environment ensuring priorities are delivered on time, on budget and in alignment with business objectives.

The role offers immediate scope for influence, high visibility with senior leadership and the chance to help shape transformation and growth across a dynamic multi business portfolio.

Job Purpose:

An important role for a highly skilled Project Executive responsible for driving the successful delivery of multiple, high impact projects and programs in collaboration across global functions and diverse businesses. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organizational goals, executed efficiently, and deliver measurable value.

This is a critical role with visibility at the executive level and a direct impact on business performance, innovation and transformation. The position reports to the CEO, Lucy Controls, Lucy Group Ltd.

Job Context:

This opportunity will support a business leader tasked with driving transformation and creating value across multiple companies and business units. As a trusted right hand, the Project Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing key initiatives from day one. This is a high impact opportunity in a live, fast-moving environment where there is both an immediate need and a unique chance to influence outcomes across a broad and dynamic portfolio of businesses and range of activities.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the planning of cross functional projects and programs with complex inter-dependencies and multiple stakeholders across a number of different businesses and functions
  • Assist in aligning project activities with business priorities by working closely with colleagues in operations, sales, product, finance, marketing and HR
  • Partner closely with the business leader and senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, resource plans, budgets and risk logs
  • Prepare project reports and updates to ensure clear communication, transparency and accountability
  • Identify and resolve issues, remove roadblocks and escalate critical decisions to leadership in a timely manner
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance project delivery
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment with team members and partners
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders across the business to build relationships and support effective governance processes
  • Enhancement of our values & brand: Ensuring the business lives the Group's values, including delivering the highest quality of customer-service across all the products and services
  • Governance & Reporting: Working closely with the leadership team and Group service lines to ensure the Group's governance and processes are being appropriately followed

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Degree educated (or equivalent), MBA beneficial
  • 1-2 years' experience in a project coordination, analyst or junior project management role (internships or graduate schemes considered)
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into practical execution plans
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies - e.g. SAFe-Agile, Waterfall; and a willingness to learn more
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA) desirable
