Project Engineer (Racking & Automation)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of material handling equipment, looking to recruit a Project Engineer to help build and develop their racking & automation division across the UK, whilst assisting with projects in Europe. This role offers a competitive package and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced racking or warehouse automation specialist to advance their career.

Responsibilities

1. Providing designs and technical solutions for projects in Warehouse Automation and Racking.
2. Collaborating with the sales team to meet customer specifications.
3. Creating detailed warehouse layout designs using AutoCAD and adapting these designs throughout project execution.
4. Serving as the technical contact for customers.
5. Attending sites nationally and internationally as required.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have a strong engineering background in Warehouse Racking & Automation, with significant commercial experience and proficiency in CAD software. The role is open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, understanding that both national and international travel will be necessary. A full UK driver's license is essential.

• Salary up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)
